About us
We are 12 self-motivated individuals from divergent backgrounds who share a passion for fine woodworking. Most of our craftsmen have at least 15 years of hands-on experience, most of it acquired in our shop. We value integrating traditional woodworking methods with modern materials, hardware, machinery, tools and software, and we share skills so any craftsman can take on any task.
Design development & price quotations
Beginning with the first conversation, we imagine creative solutions, accounting for function, style, materials, cost and schedule. Absent a sketch, we produce a preliminary computer drawing detailed enough for an accurate written proposal. On acceptance, we refine it into detailed large-scale CAD working drawings.
Veneering & woodworking
We cut our teeth building solid hardwood furniture. But the real skill lies in harnessing matched patterns only available in veneer. Through vacuum-bagging we produce book-matched tops and doors, diamond matches and inlay on curves and conical shapes. Our CNC router turns computer-drawn parts into accurate templates and components.
Technology in furniture
We have engineered remote-controlled devices that open doors on media walls, adjust lectern heights and expose power and communications outlets in table tops, and continue to find better ways to integrate technology into the boardroom.
Finishing
From simple oiled finishes to catalyzed lacquers, polyurethanes, conversion varnishes and marine finishes. A full-time specialist finishes every piece, and we keep detailed finishing records for each one.
